War on Marriage?

"I can make a firm pledge," he said in Dover, N.H., on Sept. 12. "Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes." ~ Obama

He repeatedly vowed "you will not see any of your taxes increase one single dime."

President Obama has made this vow time after time, and I believe this policy actually discourages "Marriage". . . .Think about it. . . .A single person can make $200k without tax increases, but a married couple can only make $250k without their taxes going up. . . .Two people living together can make $400k without increased tax penalties. . . . .Sounds like being "Married" could cost you a lot of $$$$$$$ . . . .

(I actually believe EVERY American will see a tax increase not just those making over $200k and not only in federal taxes, but tax increases in cigarettes, sugar, booze, insurance premiums, investment, etc) and BTW when did making $250k make you extremely wealthy? I'd like to find out how that feels, but they put someone making $250k in the same category as Bill Gates. WTF?)
