I received this in an email and I thought I'd pass it along. . . .this could have been written today with all the "redistribution of wealth" policies that is currently being debated in the United States, but it was actually written 78 years ago:

Obama to Prosecute CIA Agents?
The Obama Administration has decided to investigate and possibly prosecute CIA agents on techniques used to question terrorist after the September 11th attacks. Today this exchange was on Foxnews Sunday between Chris Wallace and former Vice-President Dick Cheney:

CHENEY: I guess the other thing that offends the hell out of me, frankly, Chris, is we had a track record now of eight years of defending the nation against any further mass casualty attacks from Al Qaeda. The approach of the Obama administration should be to come to those people who were involved in that policy and say, how did you do it? What were the keys to keeping this country safe over that period of time?
Instead, they're out there now threatening to disbar the lawyers who gave us the legal opinions, threatening contrary to what the president originally said. They're going to go out and investigate the CIA personnel who carried out those investigations. I just think it's an outrageous political act that will do great damage long term to our capacity to be able to have people take on difficult jobs, make difficult decisions, without having to worry about what the next administration is going to say.
WALLACE: Let me ask you -- you say you're proud of what we did. The inspector general's report which was just released from 2004 details some specific interrogations -- mock executions, one of the detainees threatened with a handgun and with an electric drill, waterboarding Khalid Sheikh Mohammed 183 times.

CHENEY: I knew about the waterboarding. Not specifically in any one particular case, but as a general policy that we had approved.
The fact of the matter is, the Justice Department reviewed all of those allegations several years ago. They looked at this question of whether or not somebody had an electric drill in an interrogation session. It was never used on the individual, or that they had brought in a weapon, never used on the individual. The judgment was made then that there wasn't anything there that was improper or illegal with respect to conduct in question...
WALLACE: Do you think what they did, now that you've heard about it, do you think what they did was wrong?
CHENEY: Chris, my sort of overwhelming view is that the enhanced interrogation techniques were absolutely essential in saving thousands of American lives and preventing further attacks against the United States, and giving us the intelligence we needed to go find Al Qaeda, to find their camps, to find out how they were being financed. Those interrogations were involved in the arrest of nearly all the Al Qaeda members that we were able to bring to justice. I think they were directly responsible for the fact that for eight years, we had no further mass casualty attacks against the United States.

Here's my interpretation of what Dick Cheney really wanted to say to Chris Wallace: F**k the Obama administration - what we did was right and if those chickensh*t little terrorist that wanted to destroy my country that I took an oath to defend can't take a few (mock) threats and a little water - oh who the hell cares. You ought to know what I really wanted to do to them bas**rds that plotted and planned the September 11th attacks, who behead and torture Americans including our military. These are the same terrorist that continue to strap on bombs that kill women and children. Do you REALLY think I give a rat’s ass what our CIA did to these terrorist to get critical information that saved Americans lives. . . .
Again. . . .Here's what I don't understand about the torture debate. . . .The CIA can't drip a little water over a terrorist head or make them uncomfortable in any way, even if they can get information that could save American's lives. . . . But the US Military can shoot them dead on the battlefield. So. . . . SHOOT THEM DEAD ON THE BATTLEFIELD. . . .End of Debate (No more need for Gitmo either).

We Will Never Forget. . . .Or Will We?
Remember our rallying cry after September 11th. . . .We vowed:
September 11, 2001 is one of the most horrific days in our Nation's history and we as a "Nation" should spend the day remembering the thousands that died in the World Trade Centers, the Pentagon, in the fields of Pennsylvania, and the Soldiers that are continuing to fight the War on Terrorism. . . .
but now. . . .
President Obama has declared September 11th as the "National Day of Service" and "Remembrance".
It appears they want to change the mindset of September 11th from what they call a "Day of Fear" to a day of "Community Action, Service and Volunteerism".
September 11th should be a day of Fear. . . .If you are a TERRORIST. . . .We never appropriately retaliated against the terrorist after the first World Trade Center Bombing in 1993, the two Embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998, or the USS Cole bombing in 2000. This emboldened the terrorist to attack us on our homeland. The terrorist were use to the piddly retaliations from President Clinton, but thankfully on that fateful day in 2001 there was a new Sheriff in town.
President Bush made a vow while standing in the smoldering remains of the Twin Towers three days after the terrorists destroyed them:
"I can hear you," he told rescue workers who greeted him with chants of "U.S.A.! U.S.A.!" "The rest of the world hears you. And the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon."
President Bush’s final speech to the nation he said: As the years passed, most Americans were able to return to life much as it had been before 9/11. But I never did. Every morning, I received a briefing on the threats to our nation. I vowed to do everything in my power to keep us safe.
Thank You President Bush. . . .You did continue to keep us safe. . . .
Unfortunately, in just 8 years our Nation has now gone back to the September 10th mentality. . . .With President Obama empathizing with the terrorist and tying the hands of the CIA it just makes you realize how true the quote is: "Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it". . . .
President Obama said in a speech in July, 2008: "we cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.". . . .(doesn't this sound remotely similar to Hitler's "brown shirts" that played a key role in his rise to power, and were superseded by the SS?) WTF?
So how will we as a "Nation" be observing this September 11th?. We'll just have to wait and see, but I'm sure Obama's "Civilian National Security Force" will be out in full force.
It does make you wonder why they didn't just combine the "National Day of Service" with the "Labor Day" holiday. . . .It would have made a lot more sense? Most people have the day off already and could go plant a tree to make the "Greenies" happy. They could have chosen any of the other 300 non-holidays in the year instead of September 11th, and it wouldn't have taken away from the sacredness of this tragic day. I mean would they ever combine the remembrance of December 7th 1941, Pearl Harbor Day, with Japanese awareness month? With this administration who knows. . . .

Lockerbie Bomber’s Release. . . .
On a cold day in December back in 1988, Pan Am Flight 103 crashed in Lockerbie, Scotland? It was latter determined a terrorist bomb had blown up the plane with 243 passengers and 16 crew members aboard. 11 people on the ground died from the debris of the fallen plane.
According to wikipedia.com: "In 2001, Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi, a Libyan, was convicted of involvement in the bombing and sentenced to life imprisonment. On 20 August 2009, the Scottish Government released him on compassionate grounds to return to Libya as he was suffering from terminal prostate cancer and had a life expectancy of less than 3 months." he spent less than 8 years in prison.
lbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi, received a "hero's welcome home" this week when he arrived in Tripoli, Libya. They had a major celebration in spite of Britian's Prime Minister sending a letter to Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi requesting that they handle the homecoming “with sensitivity” and "restraint".
Pan Am Flight 103 was heading to John F. Kennedy Airport in New York, so the plane was carrying mostly Americans. The families are infuriated over the release of this terrorist, and are demanding answers on how/why this mass murderer was released.
news flash. . . .news flash. . . .Doubts about Megrahi's 3 month life expectancy have already been raised, and the doctor who gave the prognosis may have been employed by the Libyan government.
I'll bet $5.00 that this terrorist bas**rd is still alive on November 26, 2009 (3 months from today), and if I had $100.00, I'd bet he is still alive this time next year.
It is also being investigated that British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown only made the deal to gain the release of Megrahi to obtain Libyan oil contracts.
According to cnn.com: "Next month Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi plans to pitch his Bedouin tent on the grounds of a Libyan diplomatic residence in suburban New Jersey during his visit to participate in the annual United Nations General Assembly".
The families of the victims of Pan Am Flight 103 should tell him where to stick his "tent".

Communists and Anarchists and Radicals, Oh, My !
President Obama has always surrounded himself with radicals and evidently it still makes him feel warm and cozy. It was evident earlier this year when he appointed Van Jones as "Green Czar" a self-proclaimed "COMMUNIST".
Van Jones, Speaking to the East Bay Express, Van Jones said he first became radicalized in the wake of the 1992 Rodney King riots, during which time he was arrested.
"I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28th, and then the verdicts came down on April 29th," he said. "By August, I was a COMMUNIST."
"I met all these young radical people of color – I mean really radical: communists and anarchists. And it was, like, 'This is what I need to be a part of.' I spent the next 10 years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary," he said
Van Jones is a Yale graduate and the founder of Green For All, a national NGO dedicated to "building an inclusive green economy strong enough to lift people out of poverty"

Would you have ever imagined in your lifetime that someone that is a self-proclaimed "COMMUNIST" would be appointed to a position at the White House?
Remember the stories from the 1950's about Senator Joseph McCarthy, who was criticized for making claims that there were large numbers of Communists that were inside the United States federal government and elsewhere. He sure wouldn't have to search too far to find a "Communist" these days. . . .Hell, now they're tax payer funded and being hired by our own federal government on purpose.
What Czar is next? Reverend Wright - Religion Czar, Bill Ayers - Domestic Terrorist Czar, Osama bin Laden - International Terrorist Czar? Henry Gates Jr. - Race/Police Relations Czar?
Alert! Obama Czar count now at 44 with 7 additional positions being planned - and remember there is no Constitutional requirement that Czars undergo those pesky Senate confirmation hearings. Czars are accountable to no one except the administration. I have done extensive research and cannot find out any information on the salaries or budgets of these Czars. . . .WTF?

The reason we're talking about this—a lot of talk here Dylan—because people feel like yes, there are Second Amendment rights, for sure, but also there are questions about whether this has racial overtones. You have a man of color in the Presidency and white people showing up with guns strapped to their waists."

1949 versus 2009. . . .
When I was researching my article "Big Brother Ain't Just Watching Anymore" I came upon this information I thought I'd share. . . .Talk about ironic. . . .In 1949, George Orwell wrote a book titled "Ninteen Eighty-Four" According to wikipedia.com: The novel has become famous for its portrayal of pervasive government surveillance and control, and government's increasing encroachment on the rights of the individual - "Big Brother is Watching You". . . .
The technology in 1949 was prehistoric compared to today - Orwell invisioned a two-way telescreen in every home through which The Party would monitor the populace. They had foot soldiers and snoopy neighbors, and we have *24 hour surveillance cameras, *RFID tags, GPS, *facial recognitions systems, etc. . . .George Orwell must be turning over in his grave.
Britain has a staggering 4.2million CCTV cameras - one for every 14 people in the country - and 20 per cent of cameras globally. It has been calculated that each person is caught on camera an average of 300 times daily.
Use of spy cameras in modern-day Britain is now a chilling mirror image of Orwell's fictional world, created in the post-war Forties in a fourth-floor flat overlooking Canonbury Square in Islington, North London.
On the wall outside his former residence - flat number 27B - where Orwell lived until his death in 1950, an historical plaque commemorates the anti-authoritarian author. And within 200 yards of the flat, there are 32 CCTV cameras, scanning every move.
Orwell's view of the tree-filled gardens outside the flat is under 24-hour surveillance from two cameras perched on traffic lights.
The flat's rear windows are constantly viewed from two more security cameras outside a conference centre in Canonbury Place.
In a lane, just off the square, close to Orwell's favourite pub, the Compton Arms, a camera at the rear of a car dealership records every person entering or leaving the pub.
Within a 200-yard radius of the flat, there are another 28 CCTV cameras, together with hundreds of private, remote-controlled security cameras used to scrutinise visitors to homes, shops and offices.
The message is reminiscent of a 1949 poster to mark the launch of Orwell's 1984: 'Big Brother is Watching You'.
In the Shriji grocery store in Canonbury Place, three cameras focus on every person in the shop. Owner Minesh Amin explained: 'They are for our security and safety. Without them, people would steal from the shop. Although this is a nice area, there are always bad people who cause trouble by stealing.'
Three doors away, in the dry-cleaning shop run by Malik Zafar, are another two CCTV cameras.
'I need to know who is coming into my shop,' explained Mr Zafar, who spent £400 on his security system.
This week, the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE) produced a report highlighting the astonishing numbers of CCTV cameras in the country and warned how such 'Big Brother tactics' could eventually put lives at risk.
The RAE report warned any security system was 'vulnerable to abuse, including bribery of staff and computer hackers gaining access to it'. One of the report's authors, Professor Nigel Gilbert, claimed the numbers of CCTV cameras now being used is so vast that further installations should be stopped until the need for them is proven.
One fear is a nationwide standard for CCTV cameras which would make it possible for all information gathered by individual cameras to be shared - and accessed by anyone with the means to do so.
The RAE report follows a warning by the Government's Information Commissioner Richard Thomas that excessive use of CCTV and other information-gathering was 'creating a climate of suspicion'.

I don't have a problem with individuals and businesses having their own security systems for their safety and others protection. . . .If I could afford it I would have it at my own home. . . .But when the Government i.e. "Big Brother" watches everything you do. . . .It is a whole different story. . . .They have the ability to take away your "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness"
It is argued that CCTV displaces crime, rather than reducing it. It's kind of like the argument that if you you outlaw guns, then only the criminals will have guns.

Big Brother Ain't Just Watching Anymore. . . .
With gasoline prices reaching over $4.00 a gallon last year many hard working Americans purchased fuel efficient cars to save a few dollars. Without the gas guzzlers on the road the States are losing millions of dollars each year in fuel taxes.In Oregon, they are currently testing a GPS in vehicles and at the pump, which would not only calculate and charge you for each mile driven, but also charge you more money when it calculates when you consumed your gasoline i.e. during rush hour, etc. It seems like "Big Brother" is always a giant step ahead of the people. . . .
I have always been leery of the advancement of GPS* technology. . . . .Did you know that auto companies now have the ability to shut down your engine if you happen to miss a payment or two? Just think about. . . .If Onstar can have a two-way conversation with you, unlock your doors, and know where you are at any given minute. . . . "Big Brother" can too.
Now that the US government is owner of the nation's largest auto manufacturers it just creates so many privacy issues. They not only have control of the technology that is being put into each new vehicle, but they could eventually be able to control the flow of traffic, stop people from going to protests, and all kinds of Orwellian type scenarios.
What starts out as just "new" technology can quickly become overwhelmingly intrusive in your life. It is just like the little black-box that is in the newer vehicles that control the airbags, brakes, etc. This information is now being used in a court of law to determine at the time of an accident, if and when you applied your brakes, did you have your blinker on, etc.
California has the technology during rolling blackouts to use "emergency power to control individual thermostats, sending temperatures up or down through a radio-controlled devices to manage electricity shortages." The eco-freaks won't allow them to build any additional power sources, but will allow this intrusion into their lives.
I absolutely despise the red light cameras and I told the kids years ago. . . . it's just a matter of time before they begin to issue tickets for speeding this way and sure enough this technology is now available. According to motorist.org "This type of enforcement emphasizes ticket volume and they can actually make our roads less safe."
It's all for our own good. . . right? "Big Brother" always knows what is best for us. . . .right?

update*: This summer there was a lady walking through our neighborhood using a GPS device at every house and when I asked her about it she said it was to register the GPS coordinates of every entryway in America by no further than 40 feet for the Census. Does that not send a chill up your spine? The government now has GPS coordinates to within 40 feet of your front door. . . . .

Is She For Real or Was it Memorex????
Did you see last week when the "fake" Doctor got up at Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee's (D-TX) Town Hall meeting and gave her fake "professional" opinion concerning Obamacare?
According to Heritage.org: Well now comes news that the pro-Obamacare voices in the crowd were not entirely legitimate. A primary care physician identified as Dr. Roxana Meyer stood up and praised the President’s health care plan for overhauling a broken system. Meyer said: “I don’t know what there is in the bill that creates such panic.” The Congresswoman asked the crowd to give her a round of applause for being a doctor, hugged her and then asked “How long have you been practicing?” to which “Dr.” Meyer answered “Four years,” which was followed by more applause and a gushing grin on the face of “Dr.” Meyer. The problem? Roxana Meyer is not a doctor, but rather an Obama campaign delegate.
In responding to inquiries, Roxana Meyer says she possessed “spontaneity” in her deception and she thought it would “help her credibility.” Yes, she gave all Obamacare supporters loads of credibility today. We hope that the President’s chorus will denounce her actions as loudly as they have protested regular parents, citizens, students who have driven themselves to their representative’s townhalls to ask serious questions about the “reform” of one sixth of the U.S. economy.

Hillary Who?

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is #1, Hillary is down to #36; The wicked witch of the East and West coast, Nancy Pelosi is ranked #35, and Michelle Obama is #40.
Hillary Clinton has always been soooo politically savvy it makes you wonder why she would have accepted the behind the scenes position of "Secretary of State". She would have been right in the middle of all the action as a "NY Senator" with the Obamacare debate going on around the country. Now it just seems like she has gotten on her high powered horse and rode off into the sunset.
Just look how last week, Mr. Bill went to North Korea to gain the release of the two US Journalist being held prisoner there. Isn't that what a Secretary of State usually does? Former President Clinton is still all over the news. . . .Where's Hillary?
It really does appear that she is having some identity issues. While in Africa she went off on a student when she didn't like the question he asked. . . .She yelled out "My husband is not the Secretary of State, I am," and "I Will Not Be Channeling My Husband".
No matter what. . . .I don't think we have seen the last of Hillary Clinton. . . .She has something hidden up her "political" sleeve.

How Much is Your Life Worth?
QALY - Quality-Adjusted Life Year - it's an acronym you are going to learn to hate in the coming years if Obamacare is passed. . . .It is a code word for extreme "rationing". Costly medical treatment will only be given to you when your life expectancy and usefulness exceeds the cost of the treatment.
In other words, a 40 year old versus 80 year old needing open heart surgery. . . .Which person would the thousands of dollars of treatment be better spent? Which person would benefit society the most with the surgery? It sure wouldn't be the 80 year old according to QALY calculations? So when you hear that Obamacare will kill Grandma this is what the debate is all about. . . . this is some scary stuff or as Mr. Evolution, Charles Darwin, himself might call it "Survival of the Fittest" or could it be called a form of Hitler's "Final Solution"?
Here's a Sports Analogy: You're a Rookie for the New York Yankees - You've worked your whole life for this. . . .You've played little league, high school, college and toughed it out in the minor leagues. You've hit the big time and your at the top of your game. Then one day you have an injury and your batting/fielding stats start to go down. You get called into the managers office and it's been determined that you are no longer "useful" or a "benefit" to the team - they send you right back down to the minor leagues. (unfortunately with Obamacare you'd be sent six feet under)
BTW - All you senior citizens out there that are on the Obama bandwagon. . . .I hope you're right and Obamacare doesn't ration medical treatment to the extent of QALY, because you'll be the first one they'll want to "pull the plug" on. . . .

Here's another analogy:
You purchase a car for $25,000. You keep up with all the maintenance, you made your car and insurance payments on time. . . .It's finally paid for and you've driven it over 100,000 miles. . . it still purrs like a kitten. . . .
Then one day unfortunately you run off the road and hit a tree. . . .
You call up your insurance agent and tell him the sad news. He gets out the blue book and tells you that your car is only worth $4,000. They determine it would cost $6,000 to get it running and looking good again, so they inform you it is totaled.
The calculation ratio to "fix it" versus "what it's worth". . . .Your car is now headed to the junk yard.
Now Mr. Joe Blows sees this car being pulled to the junk yard and figures he can get some cheap used parts, take out the dents, slap on some new paint and all will be good.
So he pays pennies on the dollar for the car, makes the necessary repairs and then goes and gets him a salvaged title and she purrs for many more years. . . .
So the analogy is. . . .when you have the chance to "repair" the elderly. . . .they can still be very useful members of society. My dad is 80 years old, and still works 6 months a year . I cannot imagine someone denying his hundreds of thousands of dollars of "repairs" he has had throughout the last few years.
It's a scary thought that this could happen to your elderly family members or the disabled. The government would make a calculation to determine the cost "fix them" versus "what their usefulness is to society".

Things Aren't Always What They Seem. . . .
OMG. . . .Did you hear the story about Janet Schulte a Florida lady that put an ad on Craigslist for her "baby sitting" services?
A man answered her ad and said his "40-something, disabled brother needed a caregiver who could bottle-feed him and change his diapers." The mysterious brother said "that a car accident left his brother with physical disabilities, including weak arms, poor bladder control and the mental capacity of a 5-year-old."
She agreed to provide his care, and by some miracle this disabled brother was able to walk himself to her house everyday for three months "I took care of him just like I would my kids," she said. "I rubbed his head when he was falling asleep. I waited on him hand and foot." He spent his days at her house watching cartoons and playing video games."
When the fraud was finally exposed she discovered he didn't have the disabilities he claimed to have. Evidently, he was just some freak with an "adult baby" or "diaper-lover" fetish. She said "The guy played such a good role," whether pretending to be the brother or the man who hired her.
She wanted to press charges against him for fraud, but "investigators and prosecutors have refused to pursue charges, saying Schulte was paid ($600.00 per week) and she agreed to provide the care."

Doctors Amputate for Profit?
At a Townhall meeting in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on August 11, 2009, I'm sure President Obama angered a few doctors when he said the following:
According to the examiner.com: Obama said that doctors who only treat patients in a way to help them make good choices don’t get paid much because of a fee schedule that is out there. What he didn’t go on to explain is that the fee schedule is largely set by the government. The schedule isn’t just “out there,” the government sets the fee schedule for what doctors will get paid by medicare and other government medical programs. Then private insurance companies must react to the extremely low pay set up by medicare and must raise prices on private individuals to make up for the loss that the government causes.
Obama goes on to say that for something like diabetes, having doctors altering patients diets and guiding them to make the right decisions and “monitoring” whether they are taking their medications, the fee schedule pays so low that that doctors can (and would) instead amputate a foot and get thirty thousand dollars. Obama also said something similar a few weeks back about doctors taking out tonsils for money in the same way. If doctors were taking out more tonsils than necessary it might have had more to do with the fear of being sued for not taking out tonsils if there was the slightest indication that maybe they should be taken out.

I guess according to President Obama the Doctor's Hippocratic Oath "Above all, Do no harm" actually means. . . . unless you want to make a big profit.

Visions of "Obamacare" Danced in our Heads. . . .

Explaining why he believes a public option would not crowd out and ultimately eliminate private insurance, Obama said, "My answer is that if the private insurance companies are providing a good bargain, and if the public option has to be self-sustaining…then I think private insurers should be able to compete. They do it all the time. I mean, if you think about it, UPS and FedEx are doing just fine, right? No, they are. It's the Post Office that's always having problems."
In one brief phrase, Obama planted the image in the minds of millions of people: Government health care = Post Office. Everyone has had the pleasant experience of waiting in line at the Post Office, and now Obama, whose intention was to dispel doubts about increasing government's role in health care, has rhetorically linked health care reform with the Post Office experience. If Republicans can't make something of that, they don't deserve to be called the opposition party.
The Heritage Foundation has done a good job telling us just how wrong-headed Obama's Post Office remark was. For example, private carriers are forbidden by law from delivering first-class mail to your home; the Postal Service loses billions of dollars each year; the Postmaster General complains that he doesn't have the "tools" to run the Postal Service like a business. But in the end, it is the image that Obama has put into the heads of millions of Americans, the one in which government health care looks like the Post Office, that could do grievous damage to the president's dream of a government health care makeover.

Gutless, Spineless Politicians?

According to csmonitor.com: As a result, the face-to-face town meeting, once a staple of the August congressional recess, is on the outs. In its place is a new array of “virtual” meetings – free of protest signs, shouting, bad media moments, and (real or suspected) “outside agitators.”
These new platforms range from mass conference calls, or I-town hall meetings, to interactive Internet sites where voters register concerns and members, in their own time, respond.
For now, Sen. Mark Warner (D) of Virginia is postponing an in-the-flesh town hall on healthcare in favor of answering questions on multiple platforms – telephone town halls, a rolling poll, and video responses on his Senate website and through Twitter. On July 14, he held a telephone town hall with some 1,600 Virginians.
According to the lasvegassun.com: Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s office is scheduling a telephone town hall meeting for August, opting to avoid the shouting matches and microphone speeches that have erupted at events across the country. The senator expects to reach thousands of Nevadans, including those in the state’s rural expanse.
These elected government reps want to be able to pick and choose which questions they answer. They don't want to see ordinary Americans voicing their opinions over Obamacare, but using conference calls, internet, videos, twitter instead of face-to-face town hall meetings. . . . now that's gutless and spineless. They keep this up and the American People will be marching on Washington D.C. with pitchforks and torches like they did in France during the French Revolution of 1789.

According to puma08.com: I guess the Queen Nancy Pelosi got tired of having to wait for the Air Force to provide her with a fleet of aircraft, so now she has decided to create ‘CongressAir’ by taking $550 million from the Pentagon’s budget to buy 8 Jet planes for the use of members of Congress.
The House’s plan to spend $550 million to buy eight business-class passenger jets to ferry senior government and military officials around the globe. . . .
According to the Wall Street Journal: “It forces us to take money from things we do need to fund and redirect it for things we don’t need,” Geoff Morrell, a spokesman for Defense Secretary Robert Gates, said Friday. “And in a time of war, we just can’t afford that.”

American "Mob" vs Obamacare
The Democrats have an ad out this week bashing patriotic Americans who are exercising their "Right to Free Speech" and going to their local townhall meetings and protesting against Obamacare.
The Democrats ad ends with the quote:

In Dallas this week, white haired Texans attended a townhall meeting to show their opposition to Obamacare to the very Liberal AARP. The spokeswoman for the AARP was so condescending to these "mob" people when they expressed their views she decided to cut the meeting short. Way to go grannies and papas. . . .
According to Chron.com: Physicians jammed a town hall meeting in The Woodlands in Houston on Thursday, expressing fears about the cost and effectiveness of a health care reform bill.
U.S. Rep. Kevin Brady, R-The Woodlands, hosted the meeting attended by about 90 physicians at Memorial Hermann Hospital-The Woodlands.
“The bottom line is that doctors don't want socialized medicine — another flawed health care system like Medicare. They don't believe it will lower the costs or improve quality,” Brady said. “Medicare is already going bankrupt and not quality care. It also shifts medical costs onto other paying customers. It needs to be fixed first.”
A black conservative, Kenneth Gladney, was attacked by Union Members outside of a townhall meeting in St. Louis for passing out "DON'T TREAD ON ME" flags. Makes you wonder why Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are not standing up for this black man's rights.
Obama's deputy chief of staff Jim Messina, stated in a meeting with democrats facing the right-wing "mobs" during their August townhall meetings. . . . .“If you get hit, we will punch back twice as hard”
The democrats want to silence the "mobs" of hard working Americans who oppose Obamacare, but President Obama's Department of Justice "did not punch back hard" to the Black Panthers that were carrying nightsticks and intimidating voters at polling places in Philly this past November. They have been cleared and not even indicted.

"War on Terrorism" is Over?
I wonder if the "Terrorist" around the world got this memo?
According to the Washington Times this week: It's official. The U.S. is no longer engaged in a "war on terrorism." Neither is it fighting "jihadists" or in a "global war."
"The President does not describe this as a 'war on terrorism,'" said John Brennan, head of the White House homeland security office, who outlined a "new way of seeing" the fight against terrorism.
The only terminology that Mr. Brennan said the administration is using is that the U.S. is "at war with al Qaeda."

I agree we are "at war with al Qaeda" in Afghanistan and around the world, but you can't ignore the threats from all the non-al Qaeda terrorist that spew their hatred for America and her allies on a daily basis.
What about North Korea that just threatened to shoot missiles at Hawaii in July? What about Iran? What about Hamas and Hezbollah whose #1 goal is the total destruction of Israel? What about the Somali pirates that are terrorizing the high seas? I could go on and on. . . .Sorry Mr. President and Mr. Brennan. . . but. . . .
You can try to sugar coat it, but there are thousands of "terrorist" just like the scum that beheaded Daniel Pearle, in 2002 and Nick Berg (pictured below), in 2004.

In July, 2009 I stated:
"It is sad to say, but I predict Sonia Sotomayor will be confirmed as a US Supreme Court Judge. The Democrats have a filibuster proof majority and you know there will be a few RINO's that will vote in this "wise Latina woman"
"A Woman and the First Hispanic. . . .I know the Republicans won’t touch this one with a 10 foot pole and will approve her nomination."
Well, unfortunately, I was right and Sonia Sotomayor is now a United States Supreme Court Judge. We will just have to watch and see how her liberal views will affect the way she votes on the many critical issues that will go before her.
. . . .I just pray that she is not the deciding vote on 2nd amendment rights, our right to self-defense, affirmative action, etc.

A mentally ill Texas woman dismembered her 3-week-old son and apparently ate some of his body parts before trying to kill herself, according to San Antonio police. Otty Sanchez was found in her home with a wound to her chest and her throat partially slashed.
Investigators said the 33-year-old mother apparently ate the child's brain, nose and toes before stabbing herself. She told officers that the devil told her to kill her baby. She is charged with capital murder.
Family members told police that Sanchez had a history of mental illness and was diagnosed with schizophrenia and postpartum psychosis. They also said she moved out of the house where she was living with the baby's father and moved to her mother's house about a week before the incident.

I think this crazy woman's husband and family members should all be held responsible for not protecting this precious baby. I would hope that someone in my family would have removed my child until I got the help I needed. How much punishment will she receive? Just think about former nurse, Andrea Yates who drowned her five children in a bathtub in Houston, Texas back in 2001 and was found "not guilty by reason of insanity" after her second trial. It is highly unlikely she will ever be released, but that doesn't mean she "won't" ever be released. Her family also ignored all the warning signs when she didn't bathe for days and had become robotic in her actions.

Investigators believe Haynes, last seen alive July 23, was dead for several days before her body was found by her landlord. Her body was so mutilated, police initially could not determine her gender.
The day after Haynes' body was found, Corey and her male friend, Alex Dion, 27, showed up at a Plymouth, New Hampshire homeless shelter with the baby, who Corey said was hers. Staff members became suspicious and called police.

Zeituni Polly Onyango, 57, the disabled half-sister of President Obama's father just moved back into public housing in South Boston while she awaits her deportation hearing next year. . . .
I wonder, how much Aunt Zeituni has cost the American Taxpayer in the 10+ years she has been in our country illegally with her Free Public Housing, Welfare, Free Medical Care, Food Stamps, etc.?
The most powerful man in the world has two relatives living in these horrible conditions and how has he helped them? I guess they could use a little of Obama's Hope and Change.
If the stock market were up, and unemployment was low, do you think that Congress would have a chance to pass their laundry list of "Socialist" programs? Cash for Clunkers. . . .
You have got to ask yourself: "Why is $3 billion dollars of your hard earned tax dollars being used to buy thousands of Americans new cars in the "Cash for Clunkers" program?" A total of $1 billion dollars was used in the first four days, and now congress has pumped another $2 billion dollars into the program as of last Friday.
Why didn't they just offer American's $4500.00 to go towards something they need in these tough economic times? We could have used the extra cash to go towards a new car, pay our mortgage, buy a new refrigerator, repair your clunker, etc.
Since all the "Clunker Cars" get scrapped, this program will cripple the "Used Car" and "Scrap Yard" businesses in America. Where are you going to get cheap replacement parts? What about the people that can only afford a "clunker" type vehicle?
Most of the scrapped "Clunker Cars" are being loaded onto freighters and sent to China. When did scrap metal come back to bite America?
Oh yeah. . . .back in the 1930's America sent scrap metal to Japan. . . .how did they repay us?
