A "Few" Words from the Wise. . . .

Read the quotes below from America's Fore-Fathers and other Great leaders. . . .They understood the problems our young Nation faced, but they also understood that the "government" was not the answer and that it interfered with progress. . . .

"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty."

— Thomas Jefferson

I don't believe in a government that protects us from ourselves.

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.'

Man is not free unless government is limited.

If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.

"Government is not the solution to our problems; government is the problem."

I have wondered at times what the Ten Commandments would have looked like if Moses had run them through the US Congress.

- Ronald Reagan

Let us never forget that government is ourselves and not an alien power over us. The ultimate rulers of our democracy are not a President and senators and congressmen and government officials, but the voters of this country.

- Franklin D. Roosevelt

The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government - lest it come to dominate our lives and interests.

- Patrick Henry

These "Great Americans" would be turning over in their graves if they knew that our country was abandoning "Captialism" for "Socialism", and "We the People" are losing more of our freedoms every day.

"We the People" could sure use another "Wise Man or Woman" to get our "Great Nation" back on the right track. . . .These men had Americas best interest at heart and were not out to only accomplish their own personal agenda. Their vision was for America to be GREAT not just equal around the world.

"What is the big difference between Reagan and his recession and Obama and his recession? Very simple: Reagan was trying to end his.". . . .Rush Limbaugh
