O's Aide Terror-fying. . . .

According to the New York Post:

By CHARLES HURT

WASHINGTON -- First it was delusion. Now it is denial.

Let's just hope the Obama administration works through this vexing 12-step program they're in before al Qaeda decides to launch another attack.

Last week, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano assured us that the "system worked" when Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab nearly blew up an American jetliner on Christmas Day with a bomb smuggled in his loin.

And just when you thought "Big Sis" had easily retired the award for Biggest Turkey in the Global War on Terror, up steps John Brennan.

After spending a week furiously backpedaling from Napolitano's bomb of an assessment, the White House dispatched Brennan, one of President Obama's top terror advisers, to the Sunday political talk shows to illustrate just how seriously the administration takes your security.

It was not reassuring.

"There is no smoking gun," Brennan whined on "Fox News Sunday." "There was no single piece of intelligence that said, 'This guy is going to get on a plane.' "

Really?

Osama bin Laden didn't send us a postcard before 9/11 with a picture of a smoking gun and four planes turned into missiles filled with precious Americans.

And that was precisely the terrifying lesson we learned from 9/11. Never again would we sit back and wait to be handed a smoking gun.

Using a vastly expanded intelligence network and an aggressive analysis operation, we would uncover these plots before they spawned. And, at the very least, we would stop people hell-bent on jihad like Abdulmutallab from ever reaching our shores.

Of course there was "no single piece of intelligence" that spelled it out. You have to put the pieces together, genius.

Anyway, we're not talking about a 5,000-piece jigsaw puzzle here.

This was more like one of those children's puzzles with four giant pieces that have to be laid out of the floor, and each piece gives you a pretty good idea of what you're looking at.

The piece with Abdulmutallab's father going to the US Embassy in Lagos to report that his son had gone jihad was a pretty good one.

That Abdulmutallab also had spent time in Yemen was another.

And then there is the fact that he had been banned from Britain.

Brennan dismissed that as a technicality.

"It was because of immigration concerns," he sniffed on CNN. "That was not related to terrorism at all."

What was this minor infraction? Abdulmutallab lied on a visa application by putting down a bogus school he claimed he would be attending in Britain.

A Muslim who has spent time in one of the world's deepest terror havens lies on a visa application, and Obama's top terror expert thinks it's a technicality?

No wonder Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize.

The shit for brains Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said today:

DHS plans to catch only 26% of travelers committing 'major' criminal violations.

----------------------------------------------------------

I'm sure the muslim terrorists are glad to know that 74% of them have a chance to get past our airport security.

Can you imagine if pilots had a 1 in 4 chance of landing a plane safely? Would you EVER want to get on another plane?  This is totally unacceptable under any circumstance.

Of course they will only catch a few terrorist. . . .Security is too busy waving their metal detectors under a nun’s habit while mohammed strolls by with his turban on and a lit bomb fuse burning. . . .You see it’s better to have 300 Americans blow up from a terrorist plane bomb than to offend a muslim or hurt his feelings by profiling. . . .Our own government cares less about its citizens dying the most horrible death than to check the people who really need checking.
