Immigration Reform Rears Its Ugly Head. . . .

According to The MaryHunter at moonbattery.com:

From the Holy Distractions Batman Department: we bring you the inevitable rise of Immigration Reform legislation, timed exquisitely to coincide with the final throws of the ObamaCare battle. Dear Leader has been meeting with those champions of illegal immigrants everywhere, Chuck-U Schumer Lindsey Grahamnesty.

The basis of a bill would include a path toward citizenship for the 10.8 million people living in the U.S. illegally. Citizenship would not be granted lightly, the White House said. Undocumented workers would need to register, pay taxes and pay a penalty for violating the law. Failure to comply might result in deportation.

Participants in the White House gathering also pointed to an immigration rally set for March 21 in Washington as a way to spotlight the issue and build needed momentum.

But with the healthcare debate still unresolved, Democrats are wary of plunging into another polarizing issue.

If you are wondering why the democrats are so in the camp of immigrants and even "illegals" today. . . .

Just watch the violent history of immigration in the movie "Gangs of New York". Back in the mid 1800's there were fifteen thousand immigrants unloading at the docks of New York harbor a day. The native-born Americans eventually used violence as they went to the streets to protest. They were tired of all the immigrants bringing down wages, taking their jobs, not speaking the language, etc., and at the end when both sides are being slaughtered a typical politician is standing over a massive grave he states "We're burying a lot of votes down here tonite"

The famous quote "those that forget history are doomed to repeat it" is still so true today. The democrats will do ANYTHING to get votes and pass their agendas.

The democrats are going to try to cram through their grocery list of "socialist" agendas such as Obamacare, Cap and Trade, and Immigration reform in the next few months, because they know come November when the American people speak with the stroke of their pens at the voting booth it will be decades before they will ever be trusted in power in Washington.
