According to moonbattery.com:
More of a profile in counterterrorism, this story just goes to show you what the average Joe could do to thwart an attack that several governments and their transportation security organizations could not. Jasper Schuringa, the Dutch passenger who saved nearly 300 people from certain death on Northwest Airlines Flight 253 (and prevented one Islamic terrorist bastard from scoring those 72 virgins), took it upon himself to attack the suicide terrorist, without even thinking.
All this could all have been prevented, since the terrorist had been on the U.S. watch list for two years for likely terrorist ties.
The intelligence database that Mutallab is part of is described as containing people who have "loose ties or links to extremists," Fox News has learned. Any person in this database is someone who as of yet rises to threat level of no-fly lists or other more serious screenings.
The astounding bravery of Mr. Schuringa naturally resembles the bravery of those passengers who stopped the moron-terrorist Richard Reid, who tried to destroy a trans-Atlantic flight in 2001 with explosives hidden in his shoes, and naturally those Flight 92 patriots who gave their lives to prevent yet a third 9/11 attack on our nation. Mr. Schuringa more than made up for what governments usually cannot, or will not, do: he acted, boldly and decisively. When governments fail to protect us through excesses in incompetence or political correctness, it is We the People who must rise up and defend our freedom.

All these muslim terrorist are basically "hiding in plain sight". . . .Our Government knows about them, but are unwilling to take preemptive action. (Deny visas, put on no-fly list, etc) The recent wannabe airline bomber's own father had gone to the US embassy in Nigeria and told them of his son's (Abdulfarouk Umar Abdulmutallab) extremism. . . . Just like with the Ft. Hood terrorist. . . .Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan . . . .everyone that knew he was an islamist extremist. . . .either didn't take action, were not listened to or were afraid to speak up.
The shit-for-brains. . . .Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Sunday that the thwarting of the attempt to blow up an Amsterdam-Detroit airline flight Christmas Day demonstrated that "the system worked."
WTF? "The system worked" If it wasn't for the bravery of passenger Jasper Schuringa and others. . . .this muslim terrorist would have killed almost 300 people. . . .
