The $24,000 "Date Night". . . . update:

Do any of you see a problem with President Obama taking Michelle on a "date night" to New York City last weekend at a cost of $24,000+ to the American tax payer. . . .

Remember how congress pounded the GM and Chrysler executives, when they flew in private planes to Washington for their hearings? . . . .And what about those taxpayer funded photos of Air Force One in NYC last month at a cost of $324,000+. . . .by the way. . .Why won't they release the photos? And remember Obama flying all the way out to Denver to sign the $787 billion stimulus recovery bill. . . . More taxpayer funded waste.

Couldn't the Obama's find a fancy Washington DC restaurant for their "date night"? Were there no balcony seats available at the Ford Theatre to watch a play?

Not only have these events cost the American Taxpayer but they also contribute to Global Warming*. . . .Oh that's right. . . .It's do as I say. . . . Not as I do. . . .

As an unemployed American this really angers me. . . .We can barely afford to keep the lights on much less have a 'date night' . . . .
