Obama's Eligibility Still in Question. . . .

I know there is a lot of people out there saying SHUT THE HECK UP about Obama's birth certificate. . . .But my curious mind just has to wonder why President Obama has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on attorneys fees to fight providing one little piece of paper to the American people.

According to Worldnetdaily.com: "WND has reported on dozens of legal challenges to Obama's status as a "natural born citizen." The Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."

Some of the lawsuits question whether he was actually born in Hawaii, as he insists. If he was born out of the country, Obama's American mother, the suits contend, was too young at the time of his birth to confer American citizenship to her son under the law at the time.

Other challenges have focused on Obama's citizenship through his father, a Kenyan subject to the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom at the time of his birth, thus making him a dual citizen. The cases contend the framers of the Constitution excluded dual citizens from qualifying as natural born.

Last October Woldnetdaily.com learned that Hawaii's Gov. Linda Lingle has placed the candidate's birth certificate under seal and instructed the State's Department of Health to make sure no one in the press obtains access to the original document under any circumstances."

I don't know about your state but in Texas for my kids to play pee-wee football or be on the drill team or even go to school you had to provide a stamped certified birth certificate. Well, I just don't see why it is a problem that a man in the most powerful position in the world is not willing to provide this. . . .What happened to Obama's pledge to have the most open administration?

Do you remember how the media scrutinized President Bush's Texas Air National Guard record. When was he present and blah. . .blah . . blah. . .Did his daddy keep him out of Vietnam, etc. I remember they even had to prove that some of the papers were typed from the font of a typewriter from the 70's time period.

This Texas Girl says: President Obama if you want everyone to shut-up about your birth certificate then produce it. (by the way go ahead and provide how you paid for those elite universities and produce the transcripts and the papers you wrote). Why all the secrecy?
