Army says Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan is in critical condition after shooting rampage that killed 12 and injured 31.

An Army psychiatrist who reportedly feared an impending war deployment is in custody as the sole suspect in a shooting rampage at Fort Hood in Texas that left 12 dead and 31 wounded, an Army official said Thursday night.

Federal law enforcement officials told the Associated Press that Hasan had come to their attention at least six months ago because of Internet postings that discussed homicide bombings and other threats. The officials said they are still trying to confirm that he was the author.

One of the Web postings that authorities reviewed is a blog that equates homicide bombers with a soldier throwing himself on a grenade to save the lives of his comrades.

"To say that this soldier committed suicide is inappropriate. Its more appropriate to say he is a brave hero that sacrificed his life for a more noble cause," said the Internet posting. "Scholars have paralled (sic) this to suicide bombers whose intention, by sacrificing their lives, is to help save Muslims by killing enemy soldiers."

The FBI ruled out terrorism immediately today at Ft. Hood. How did they come to this conclusion so soon? Major Nidal Malik Hasan may not have been a card carrying jihadist or part of a larger Islamic terrorist cell, but no matter how you dice and/or slice it. . . .this was a terrorist attack and he is a Muslim terrorist.

If you think I'm pissed now just wait until tomorrow when all the shrinks claim that poor Nidal was being bullied, and couldn't take the harassment any longer. . . .He was nothing but a coward that attacked unarmed American Soldiers. . . .He is the Enemy within. . . .

There are over a billion Muslims in the world and 98% have one goal - to convert or kill Christians and Jews, so Major Nidal Malik Hasan is part of an organized terrorist group and his attack is part of a larger conspiracy. This is truly frightening since Obama declared earlier this year: "U.S. one of the largest Muslim countries"
