Department of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano provides the official Obamunist position on the Fort Hood terror attack; and that position is prostrate, with the head buried deeply in the sand.
Napolitano said her agency is working with state and local groups to try to deflect any anti-Muslim anger after the Thursday attacks by Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, a Muslim who reportedly expressed growing dismay over the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The shootings left 13 people dead and 29 wounded.
“This was an individual who does not, obviously, represent the Muslim faith,” she said after meeting with a group of women university students.
The man was screaming Allahu-Akbar as he slaughtered our soldiers, including a pregnant woman. He attended the same radical mosque as the 9-11 hijackers whose imam has praised the attack. He described American soldiers as "infidels who should have their throats slit." How many dots to you need to connect, woman? The Obama Regime is more concerned with not hurting Muslim feelings than it is with protecting American lives. To Janet Napolitano, the real terror threat, as identified in her department memo, are tea-partiers, pro-lifers, and anti-tax activists.
This is a replay of Clinton Administration policies: Multiple terror attacks on the United States (in Kenya, Tanzania, the Khobar Towers, the USS Cole) were ignored. Reports that Muslim radicals were signing up for flight school but cutting class on the days when landings were covered were ignored. Instead, the Clinton administration ordered the FBI to focus on threats to abortion mills.
Ignore Islamic terrorism, and use the FBI to persecute political opponents. All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again.
