Well, if you decide to have a garage/rummage sale, make sure you do a background check on all products for previous recalls. You'll also have to test for lead in all products. If you don't, you just may have to stand before the man.

"Those who resell recalled children's products are not only breaking the law, they are putting children's lives at risk," said Inez Tenenbaum, the recently confirmed chairwoman of the Consumer Product Safety Commission."

I just love the old standy liberal arguement, "it's for the children". They do it for this new law, schools, smoking bans, health care, environmental issues, everything.

Second hand stores are already saying this will put them out of business. More job losses. But hey, it's for the children.
